Alfred L. Saad, III and John W. Foster founded Foster, Saad & Co., in 1986. Its initial development project, a 70,000-square foot office building, was sold at a profit, enabling the firm to begin reinvesting in other properties immediately. In its first decade, the firm has concentrated on projects involving office buildings situated in prime commercial areas and in multi-family projects.

Foster, Saad has concentrated on pre-leased office projects targeting long-term leases. Success in this concentration has resulted from low overhead, patience, and a high degree of service and integrity in dealing with its tenant-clients.

Foster, Saad currently manages nearly one million square feet of commercial property.
